Chris Dubois is the lead elder of the Awakening Church. He founded the Awakening Church on Easter April 12th, 2009. Chris was born and brought up in NH and has two beautiful children. Chris holds a Bachelor in Bible degree, with a major in Biblical Studies and a minor in Pastoral Studies from Zion Bible Institute (now called Northpoint Bible College), and a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Chris gave his life to Christ at a young age but later recommitted his life to Christ at the age of 15. Shortly after this, at the age of 17, he had a powerful spiritual experience in which he received his first filling of the Holy Spirit and it would forever change his life and direction as he received a calling from God to pursue full-time ministry.
His heart is to see the New Testament book of Acts church in operation today in the 21st century and, thus, to see a spiritual awakening and revival in New England and around the world. He longs to see the Holy Spirit move freely in the church, and to see the church mature to the fullness of God, minister in her gifts, walk in holiness and spread the Gospel all over the world. He is also the founder and president of Wholly Holy Ministries which seeks to help people live a completely holy life. He recently published his first book Wholly Holy: A Training Manual for Living a Completely Holy Life which can be purchased on Amazon.

John Copell is the assistant elder of the Awakening Church. John is born and brought up in Massachusetts and is married to Tiffany and has four beautiful children. John went to both NorthPoint Bible College and World Evangelism Bible College. John has been doing street evangelism since 17 years old when he accepted Jesus as Lord. He has a strong evangelistic gift. He also was an assistant pastor at the Refuge Church in Taunton MA for two years. He has also worked for an evangelistic ministry called Open Air Campaigners for two years. John has a real hunger for lost souls coming to Christ and for pure doctrine and revival.

Hello Rev. Dubois:
I am the High School dept director and a faculty member here at Tri-City Christian Academy, and in fact both Jonathan and Josiah are my students. Joe Clark recently informed me that you were a pastor serving in a local church. As your sons may have indicated, the Middle School and High School departments assemble each and every morning for our morning Matins service which runs from 8:30 – 9AM.
We would be blessed if you were available to participate in this service occasionally. We would enjoy having you preach the sermon on these occasions.
Let me know if this would be a possibility, and I certainly hope to have occasion to meet you at some point soon.
In Christ’s service I respectfully remain,
Rev John Correia
High School Dept. Chairman
